40–60 Jahre alte Buschreben und eine Winzerin mit Leidenschaft: Vasiliki Akriotou zeigt mit ihrem Orivatis („der Bergsteiger“), wie viel Charakter in der griechischen Rebsorte Savatiano steckt. Die alten Reben wachsen in Böotien auf rund 300 Metern Höhe, ihre Erträge sind streng begrenzt. Nach einer kurzen Extraktion vor der Gärung und temperaturgesteuerter Vergärung bleibt der Wein drei Monate auf der Feinhefe – für Textur, Tiefe und feinen Schmelz.

Verkostung: Blasses Zitronengelb. In der Nase Zitrone, Grapefruit, Limette, Aprikose, grüner Apfel, Zitronenblüte und Kräuter. Am Gaumen trocken, mit frischer Säure, niedrigem Alkohol und zart-cremigem Körper. Noten von Pfirsich, Orange und Melone führen in einen anhaltenden, eleganten Abgang.
